Why You Should Hire Me! I graduated from grad school this past May and so just recently retired from 20 years of the student life. This offers me an ideal perspective for tutoring both because the material is fresh in my mind and also because I have a variety of study strategies that I used myself that I can share with my students! I have always had a passion for education, and love being able to share that passion with my students to help them further their studies and work on areas they wish to improve. I have tutored and worked with students for over 10 years while in grad school, college, and in high school on a variety of subject matters at varying levels, including reading, writing, and math. If needed, I am also happy to help with preparing for school entrance exams, creating resumes/cover letters, and writing essays and school applications. My passion is to meet each student where they are at and try to mold my tutoring style to what they need. My teaching philosophy is simple: relate. Relate to the student and relate the subject to what interests the individual. I am friendly, passionate, and patient in my work, and would love the opportunity to work with you to get you where you want to be.
